In my previous post, where I discussed various aspects of JAMB Regularization, I emphasized the importance for affected students to visit the nearest JAMB office to complete their regularization.
To show you how important it's, the management of Federal Polytechnic Oko, Anambra State, like other institutions, has released a memo addressing this critical issue.
Just like i said, Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has taken a final decision regarding students who were admitted into tertiary institutions between 2017 and 2020 without proper JAMB documentation.
A memo from Federal Polytechnic, Oko Anambra state that those who got admitted in National Diploma (ND) programs from 2017-2020 or earlier than that but did not have an official JAMB admission letter should proceed to Awka JAMB state office (or any of their nearest offices) for regularization. This is necessary to affirm your admission status with respect to the relevant board known as JAMB.
Come August 31, 2024 if this regularisation exercise is not done, then no more uploading of students’ data by JAMB shall be entertained in relation to the condoning of past undisclosed admissions.
Additionally, such learners shall be disqualified from participating in National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) and getting formal admission letters from JAMB which are essential for career advancement in the academia plus corporate world.
Moreover, students are to verify their admission status via the JAMB portal using their Matriculation Number (School Registration Number).
If there are any inconsistencies or omissions in this regard, these should be accompanied by some important documents including a photocopy of the school fees receipt to be submitted promptly at the Admissions Office of their institution for attention.
The order emphasizes on the critical nature of the issue and it is important that all affected students take prompt action to avoid unfavorable consequences on their academic and future career prospects.
By adhering to these guidelines and meeting deadlines as stated above will enable your admission records remain valid with JAMB therefore ensuring that you are eligible for future educational and job opportunities.

Subject: Cessation of Upload of Student Data for Condonement of Previously Undisclosed Admissions

Reference to JAMB/ADMS/DO/192/V.I of 31 July 2024, notice is hereby given, to the effect that any candidate/student without admission letter from the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), especially those that were admitted to National Diploma programmes, from 2017-2020 and prior to 2017, is to go to the JAMB state office at Awka for the regularization of his/her admission without further delay.
Let it be noted that no graduate will be allowed to participate in the National Youth Service without admission letter issued by JAMB.
Candidates/students are also advised and urged to check their JAMB admission status online through JAMB portal using their Matriculation Numbers (School Registration Numbers) and in case of omission of names, report immediately by submitting the photocopy of the first school fees receipt, to the Admissions office for upload/re-upload of their data to JAMB.
The above is to emphasize the fact that JAMB, at the end of the month (31 August 2024), will no longer entertain further upload of names pursuant to the regularization of previously undisclosed admissions.
Sir/Madam, we request you to bring this, through all available means, to the notice of your students and ex-students for their information and compliance, please.

The recent notice from Federal Polytechnic, Oko, in conclusion, underscores the importance of JAMB regularization for students especially those who were admitted into National Diploma programmes between 2017 and 2020 (and before 2017).
Without proper regularization through JAMB for their admissions, these students risk forfeiting their admission letters that are crucial to the National Youth Service (NYSC) procedure.
This is an important cutoff date as on August 31st, 2024; after which there will no possibility of undisclosed admissions data uploads or re-uploads by JAMB anymore.
All affected students must therefore take immediate action and visit the JAMB office so as to regularize their admissions and ensure their academic and professional future is not jeopardized.
By so doing we shall be able to maintain the right direction towards our children’s brighter tomorrow and also safeguard their future prospects.
