Hello, I am Prudent Joshua. I know how exciting and stressful the admission process can be, especially when waiting to hear back from universities or polytechnics in Nigeria.
I recently passed through this process, using JAMB CAPS PORTAL and hence would like to share my experience with you in order for you to easily navigate it.
This article is a guide on how to check, accept or reject your admission status on JAMB CAPS.
What is JAMB CAPS?
JAMB CAPS is an acronym for Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board Central Admission Processing System. This was created by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) as an online portal to handle admission process in tertiary institutions across Nigeria.
Through CAPS, candidates can view their admission status, accept or reject offers made to them, and also submit documents such as O’Level results.
It provides a simple admission process which gives all involved parties self-determination and ensures transparency.
My Experience with JAMB CAPS
I was curious about what JAMB CAPS was when I first heard about it but also confused. However, after I had started using it, I realized that it was very user-friendly.
In this context, I will give an account of my personal experience on how I managed my admission status.
